RWBY (2018) - Crowds Animator
gen:LOCK (2018) - Crowds Animator
Squatch (2016) - Technical Artist
With Rooster Teeth, I created crowds animations and simulations with a team of 4 others for both "RWBY" and "gen:LOCK". We animated using both hand-keyed animations and cleaned motion capture data between both Maya and Houdini. Our main work included setting up agents for crowd simulations, establishing shots with crowd characters, and building animation networks.
At the University of Texas at Dallas, Game Production Lab is a course designed to provide students with the experience of developing a vertical slice of a video game beta other classmates over the course of a single semester. An alpha version of the demo was produced during the first 8 weeks of classes, and the beta version was worked on for the remaining 8 weeks.
I served as a character rigger for the "Cold Hell Hotel" game. My main duty was creating character and facial rigs, but I also assisted with processing motion capture data and writing scripts to speed up the process.
At the University of Texas at Dallas, Animation Studio is a course designed to provide students with the experience of developing an animated short with other classmates over the course of the school year. A team of approximately 30 students is divided into disciplines, and assets go through a production pipeline until a finished animated short is produced.
The film for the 2015 school year was titles "Squatch". I served as one of our year's character riggers to create character and prop rigs and investigate dynamics and special effects for use in the animation.
Onomatopoeia is a student organization at UT Dallas that focuses on improv and student engagement on campus. I served as the art director whose main task is to maintain the public image of the organization. This involves the creation for flyers, video advertisements, and event props for both general meetings and special events.
Our mission statement is to defeat the apathy of college campus life by hosting stunts and events that bring laughter and engagement to the students and faculty of UTD. Onomatopoeia also hosts weekly Improv Nights encouraging members and other students to participate in student driven improv comedy similar to shows such as "Whose Line Is It Anyway?".
